Powder Brows
Soft and natural
Powder Brows are done with a machine in order to create an ombre look. Perfect for those wanting a soft, filled in look, much like brows filled in with topical make-up. This is ideal for those who prefer a more solid looking eyebrow, or who would like a base color behind their natural brow hair.

FAQ

What is the difference between Microblading and Powder/Ombre brow?
Microblading uses a manual tool to create many tiny hair strokes throughout the brow whereas Ombre/Powder brows uses machine to create a soft shading effect.

Do you have to shave off your eyebrows to get it done?
Absolutely No! Powder Brows is done to make the eyebrows look as natural as possible. Powder Brow is a great solution for people who have over-plucked their eyebrows (90's brows); or who have naturally very thin/light eyebrows and want to enhance the look of eyebrows on their face. It is not necessary, nor recommended for a client to get rid of any natural hair he or she may already have.

How do you pick color of pigment?
We match the pigment with color of your brow hair so it looks the most natural.

How do you pick the shape?
We custom draw the shape for every client that suits their face. We use several tools to measure and draw on your perfect shape. It is important that you put faith in the process of designing the brows shape based on your facial symmetry, muscles etc.

I have Microblading/Tattoo done by different artist. Can you do a touch up on my brows?
It depends... Every case is different, if you have questions its best to contact the artist to discuss touch up procedure.

What kind of pigment is used in Powder/Ombre Brow?
We use pigments specifically created for Permanent makeup which are designed to fade over time. We do not use tattoo pigments. Our pigment ingredients are Medical distilled water, Gelatin water, Organic plant toner, Glycol, Isopropyl alcohol, Glycerin. The pigments are made of highest quality ingredients; The safe iron-oxides meet all stringent international regulations.

How deep is the pigment implanted?
Unlike microblading, Powder Brow pigment is applied to the very top layer of the skin.

Is the end result immediately visible?
No. The first week, the pigmentation is significantly darker than the final result. Within the first week of healing the intensity of the color will become about 40% softer. Due to the natural cell renewal, the end result of pigmentation will be visible after a period of approximately 3 to 5 weeks.

Is permanent makeup the same as a tattoo?
The principle is similar to each other. With both procedures pigment is placed into the skin with needles, but that is the only similarity. The equipment as well as the composition of the pigments, and the techniques is completely different.

How long will Powder/Ombre brow last?
Usually it last 1-3years. Factors such as skin type, iron deficiency, pigment color (lighter colors fade faster or have less contrast) and sun exposure can affect time at which these pigments are broken down. For best results it is recommended that you follow our aftercare instructions and touch-up your tattoo every 10-15months (or as needed). Clients with oily skin might need touch-ups more often. Final results are NOT guaranteed as everyone has different skin, and retains pigment differently.
Reminder: Protect your new brows. Sunblock must be worn over healed brows to prevent the pigment from fading.

Powder Brow is a 2 appointment process with a single touch up done at 4 - 6 weeks. Two appointments (initial and touchup) are included in the cost, any appointment after is extra charge. Please note that it is your responsibility to come back for your touch up before 6 week mark (the same rule apply for clients traveling from different states or countries). Any touch up after 6 weeks is extra charge, No exceptions.

-Bleeding during the procedure. It is very important that you follow pre care instructions to help minimize bleeding.
-Smoking: Smokers may notice that their Powder Brow will fade faster

What happens during my appointment?

You will work together to create brows that you like best and will look the most natural. We will go over aftercare instructions and answer all your questions. Please keep in mind that Powder Brow is NOT makeup. Depending on your brows and bone structure and amount hair you have on your eyebrows, makeup may still be needed to achieve more dramatic brow looks once you have healed. You must approve the shape before we begin the pigmentation. Numbing will be applied during procedure to help keep you as comfortable as possible.

How long does the procedure take?
The time can vary depending on the procedure. For the initial appointment we dedicate 2.5 hours. Much of that time is spent choosing colors and designing the perfect shape.
Will permanent cosmetics change or look bad as I age?
Permanent cosmetics will fade gradually over time. The color will fade and when you return for a touch-up you can also change the color (within reason) as you age. Sunblock must be work over healed powdered brows to help prevent the pigment from fading.

Are activities restricted during the healing period?
It is important to avoid saunas, facials, steam baths, activities that will result in extreme sweating, cold and wind, tanning salons, sun and chlorinated or salt water pools for a minimum of a week and preferably two weeks after a procedure.
Please note: sun exposure can lighten the pigment making the brows look lighter. Sunblock must be worn to help prevent the pigment from fading.
