What is Microneedling?

How does it work?
Microneedling works by creating thousands of tiny micro-injuries on the surface of your skin with very small needles, triggering your body's natural collagen and elastin production. This treatment is safe and effective for patients of all skin types.
Microneedling causes less trauma to your skin than some other treatments, resulting in little to no discomfort and minimal downtime. The disposable sterile needles and protective sleeve eliminate the risk of cross-contamination, while the adjustable needle depths allow for a treatment tailored to your individual needs.

Microneedling is safe for use in delicate and hard to reach areas, such as around the eyes and lips for treating those stubborn lines.

Microneedling PRP
PRP is an all in one solution to help decrease the signs of aging. After a simple blood draw, PRP uses the persons own plasma that is taken from your arm, spun in a centrifuge and then microneedled into your skin. PRP is a safe, FDA approved solution to bring back elasticity and volume to your skin. Because PRP contains high concentrations of growth factors - the skin will repair quicker than with skinpen alone and it will progressively improve in tone and texture in the following weeks post procedure.

How long does the procedure take?

Many clients notice healthier looking skin immediately.
Noticeable changes are typically seen just one week following treatment and gradually improve as the body’s healing process promotes the production of healthy, new cells and extracellular substances (e.g. collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid). However, the natural repair process of your own skin continues to progress over the course of several weeks.Keep in mind, dermal collagen remodeling takes place over time. Damage that has occurred over an extensive period of time won’t disappear immediately. You may not see the final result for up to 3-6 months following your final session. Patients with uneven skin-tone and fine lines may see results after just one treatment, while those looking to soften the appearance of acne scarring may require several treatments.
